Headlook Reticle

Could we get an option to add a headlook reticle that follows the centre of your headlook.

Would help greatly for targeting Items etc while flying FA-OFF with a head tracker.

If I have understood this right, you want to be able to "look at" something and then use something like select target I look at?



If that is correct, I think think is is nice suggestion. for people who use head tracking/eyetracking/VR etc.

That is precisely what you get with TrackIR for example - "Target Ahead" button, targets whatever is in centre of vision - very useful in combat and in the SRV too.

I don't understand why the OP needs a reticle, the centre of your vision in headlook is the centre of the screen, that always seemed sufficient for me but then again I don't use the mouse widget either.

I don't object to the idea - as long as it is optional and not on by default.

I get this idea perfectly. You want to target something small next to some other targetable thing you don't want, but are bad at guessimating where the center of the screen is exactly - especially doing it fast in combat - so a reticle that shows you that would be very helpful. Make it optional and turned off by default and it's going to bother none either.
