Newcomer / Intro HEADLOOK

Hi all,

Am posting this in the beginners thread as seems a good place to ask where hopefully many knowledgeable cdrs lurk

I have just discovered that I can bring the two panels up either side of me by using buttons and also zoom into the scanner,,

Thing is I use track IR and you might ask why I would want to do that in preference, good question.

It seems to me quicker and produces a more reliable image size, also I suspect because I am using Track IR3 my setup might not track as well as some of the later models of Track IR.

My question is, and it does seem a little insignificant on the great scheme of things, is there a way of disabling the panels opening when I look at them with my Track IR ?

Thanks in advance.

I also use Panel focus, even with Track IR. It's more comfortable. :)

And no, there is no way to disable panels appearing when you look their way, unfortunately.

Well, to be honest, I get headaches from TrackIR. (or is it from 12 hour nonstop playing the game? :D) It's not that precise and becomes a bit wobbly at times, so it's really hard to do something in panels. My eyes start to hurt and then my head.
Usually I only use it in combat and while exploring/admiring/sightseeing things. Otherwise I usually have it paused.

Haha,, yes I suspect some of my woes are due to the time I play.

Track IR is imo a truly wonderful thing but there is a time and place for for sure. I just can get on with one for first person shooter type games !
