Headphones recommendation?

What's a good brand/model of headphones? Looking for something with good sound quality but also very comfortable to wear. Currently using Turtle Beach, quality is okay for the budget price, but after an hour or two of them pressing on my cheekbones I start to get a headache.

I use HyperX Cloud for gaming sessions that need using a mic - most comfortable regular headset I have ever worn - maybe a newer version of theirs would suit - buy from Amazon to try out.

If I am playing v-late at night and not talking then I use my Bose Quiet-comfort as they really are even more comfortable but a) expensive and b) only wireless ones available now?

(Normally I don't use headphones - preferring 5.1 surround system - which Elite really suits.)

I have Hyper X Cloud Revolver S. When I wanted some, I typed into Google "Best headphones". They featured in several of the lists. The sound and comfort are both very good. I have often done sessions as long as 6 hours. The volume on the microphone is a little weak, but is fine for everything I do as long as I have it on full volume all the time - that's Discord, in-game chat and Youtube vids.

For laptop gaming, I use an old Apple iPhone earbud headset. It's actually really good. At my desk I use some nice bookshelf speakers when I can make noise, but when I can't I use some MixCDER Bluetooth over ear jobs I got from Amazon a few years ago. To be honest they're perfectly good for gaming and listening to music whilst I work. I could spend a lot more, but the law of diminishing returns is in effect. I'd get slightly better sound quality and wouldn't really extract any extra enjoyment from spending 2,3, even 10 times as much.

I find with audio there is a lot of snake oil around. Like a LOT of it. It's mostly intended to upsell people in the pursuit of tiny, fractional improvements in quality that you wouldn't even notice. As with so much in life, the cheapest option is usually cheapest for a reason. The Midrange is usually the best value, then you start to pay to pay.

HyperX Cloud II all the way. Been using them for nearly 2 years now and still working like a charm.

Not too expensive, sound is amazing (7.1 virtual surround) and most importantly they are very comfortable even with long gaming session because they are large enough to cover your ears without putting pressure on them...always had comfort issues with other models.

I don't use anything else when it comes to gaming and surround is quite impressive in games like ED (you can enable 3D sound in ED settings).

Edit

- Was also able to fix a tracking device easily on one side of them with tirap.

- Wire is long enough so you aren't limited in the distance with your computer.
