Heads-up: Asteroid belt NSPs don't show up in the FSS

Here's a bug that I added to the list of Codex bugs, but I think it's important enough to post a warning thread of its own. As the title says, NSPs that are spawned inside asteroid belt clusters don't show up in the FSS, neither before- nor after scanning the clusters. There's no line on the barcode, and nothing visible after scanning.
The only way you can find these NSPs is if you look at the left panel (Navigation). So, I recommend looking at the left panel before you enter the FSS, so that you can know for certain if there are NSPs in the system. Even if you have asteroid clusters filtered out, as I think pretty much anyone does, the NSP contacts will still show up there. (They also do at any range, or at least certainly within 440k ls, and even before honking.) You can target them and drop in on them as usual.
As a curiosity, the contents of the NSP seem to overwrite the contents of the belt cluster, there won't be any asteroids floating around. (Oops.)

If you wish to take a look at this in action, visit the capsule molluscs around the Dryio Bloo AA-A h310 nebula out in Odin's Hold. They are fairly common there, but if you need a specific system, there's Dryio Bloo UE-Z e292 for example.

That's good to know. Since I've never found one in a belt cluster, I've obviously been missing any that I might have stumbled across (if any).

It's been a while, so I need to ask :

- upon entering a new System that contains any NSP, isn't there a "New Signal Source Detected" Message in the right top HUD?

It's been a long time since I passed a System with a NSP, but I could swear this was the earliest notification that the System has something to offer and worth checking out.
Is my memory playing tricks on me?

Good to know. I'm that one guy who doesn't have asteroid clusters turned off and I always scan them (trying to find the unexpected). I admit to finding no asteroid NSPs over the last 80k LY. While sometimes I do use the nav panel I'll just go ahead and add it into the 'script' for jumping in and scanning.

Yep. That message appears for the various Signal Sources that are generated, like Degraded Emissions and such. Unfortunately, the game doesn't notify you with such a message if there are any NSPs in the system.
