I built a wing of three Type-10 Defenders and a Cutter spec'ed to sit in a CZ and AFK away. The results were mixed.
First problem: After a moderate amount of time, at least one of the wing-mates gets flagged by both factions as hostile. This wasn't immediately a problem as the Healing chain was robust enough to heal through the onslaught. It does dramatically increase the time to complete the CZ vs. the rare instance when only one side is flagged hostile.
Second problem: when both sides are flagged hostile the battle drags on indefinitely. There's a point where something is absolutely wrecking one of the wing's shields in seconds. It looks like behavior similar to getting hit by RevCascade Torps, but I don't see how that's possible through chained ECMs firing. I can't ever recall NPCs carrying RevCadcade Torps for that matter.
Any insight on what's going on here would be great. Obviously AFK'ing CZs is silly, but getting flagged by both sides of a CZ seems like what's breaking this setup and that problem applies to more "sensible" in-game pursuits.
