Engineers Heat Dispersion Plate, Heat Vanes and Heat Exchanger! Where can I find those?

Heat Dispersion Plate Heat Vanes Heat Exchanger
Description says "Known to be salvaged from Signal Sources"
I've trawled through dozens of SS but I couldn't locate a single one!
Can someone tell me what kind of SS (Dispersion Convoy Pattern, Degraded Emission etc) type would I find them in?

Edit : So far Killing Transporters Keelbacks Type-7s and Type-9s have yielded only these!

Finally a Type-6 Dropped this in Comp Nav Beacon! Its a common material but feels rarer than Diamonds!

Go to a high res, follow the fuzz around, and ping the stuff they blow up, they drop tons of em.

Haulage vessels so 2 options,

1 - dispersal convoy and go ham, though you will get wanted.

2 - Go to anarchy and do the same or interdict, or comp nav and blow up type 6,7,9 and haulers avoids bounty

they come up pretty quick

can I ask you an easy way to find settlement data points planet side?

I've been in High RES and found tons of other stuff - never this!

Think you have these confused with a different mat, these are from blowing up haulers, like the hauler, type 6, 7, or 9. Pirates drop other types of mats

I've certainly picked up Heat dispersion plate and wiring from USS's that scanned as Threat 0 and were classified as degraded emissions or encrypted emissions. Wreckage looked to be cargo vessels. I haven't shot any cargo vessels to confirm that though.

I have collected about 20 of each all from caro vessels in anarchy sysytem to avoid bounty

this did it ... transporters drop them at Anarchy Comp Nav Beacons (Anarchy for no bounty )

I found those by simply going after wanted cargo ships, at some random nav beacon (non-anarchy).
Type 6 and 7,and Keelbacks.

that might take a long time...waiting for a WANTED cargo T6 T9 or transporter. Even in Anarchy Comp Nav beacons I'm seeing very few. Any better suggestions on where to look?

I've spent hours looking for Heat Dispersion Plates. This includes most of my time spent in an Anarchy system, looking for hauling vessels to plunder. It's all sending me a little crazy I think.

In fact, for the very first time since the original pre-release beta, I found myself asking 'why am I doing this?' Was quite a strange experience considering how much I love and have enjoyed the game and was so looking forward to The Engineers. Not making a statement here, just noting that I felt that way.

i AGREE. Took the advice and went to Comp Nav Beacons. Got a few Heat Exchanges - zero Heat Dispersion Plates!
edit : got ONE Heat Dispersion plate after 4 hours!

I've found plenty in Anarchy nav beacons. I've just spent half an hour at the 63 G Capricorn Nav beacon. You want to hyperspace or log in/out and check out all the ships in each instance. Most instances have a Hauler/T6/Keelback.

Heat vanes especially i noticed to drop from T9's. Usually 1-2 per ship.

Ive seen all of these as mission rewards and reasonably often with my cordial npc minor faction set.

Chemical Destillery and Chemical Manipulators have the same issue. Way to little wanted cargo haulers. I will try the anarchy nav beacons.

Same here. Although didn't appear to make a difference whether I was allied, friendly or just neutral.....

sure..but heat dispersion plates are taking forever. they are listed as Common but are very rare drops.

Well I hunted for the Chemical Desillery and Manipulators, but I commonly found the Heat stuff in the anarchy nav beacon I stayed in.
Valves, Plates, Wiring etc.

Asp Explorers, Keelbacks, T6,T7,T9 yielded the best results
