I finally got my type 6, but it's like flying in an oven. Even starting the FSB causes critical heating warnings.
What is the best way to manage the ships temperture?

Yep they're like that. You won't take damage until your best is up near 140%, I just learned to live with it on mine! :/

Time for a class action suit against Lakon, this sounds like a serious design flaw.
maybe a galaxy wide callback to fix it

A better reactor and FSD will make it slightly better, but infiniboost is not the T6s strong point

I currently fly a T7. Even with A class reactor and FSD, I still have to wait for 10 seconds for the heat to bleed OFF before I can jump on. But that's part of the bargain when driving an interstellar truck

Yes it is notorious for overheating. Upgrades will fix this and increase boost times and speed.

A better reactor did definitely make it better.
