Heat Sinks and AFMUs - an idea

I guess this idea would need to be extended to all ammo-modules, but it kind of makes sense. Instead of each module having a limited amount of ammo, the ammo should be stored in the cargo. That way, instead of taking two heavy heat sink launchers in order to make sure we have enough, it might make more sense to just have one and then be able to decide how much "ammo" we take.

In this case, cargo should be broken down into smaller increments than 1T. We could take 200kg of heat sinks, which would, for argument's sake be 20.

Do you know what I mean?

I'm sure this has been raised before.

this way it is more like the way fuel can be stored.. cool idea, although I am sure it has been thought of, maybe it will be in a future release

If you want more amfu ammo, take another amfu

Everlasting heat sinks could be exploited in combat. The big ship overheat if you spam shield cells, with heat sinks people could become invulnerable

Makes total sense.

Makes so much sense. I take this entire idea back. Good points Dommarraa :)
