Heavens’ above, Gromit! There’s no Sallis Dock!!

I just saw a thread on the distinct lack of cheese and remembered that it was my recent pleasure to rewatch some of the earliest Wallace and Gromit outings, including the first one, “a grand day out.” Where they build a rocket and head for the Moon to try out its cheese.

It was only then that I found out that Peter Sallis, the iconic voice of the intrepid adventurer and inventor, and no stranger to pioneering space flight, Wallace of West Wallaby St. had passed away last summer.

It would be lovely if there could be a station or dock named after him.

The late (and to me great) Peter Sallis has no ties to Sci-fi, either in real life or during his body of works - while I lament his loss ("last of the summer wine" getting funnier as I get older), 99.99% of the playerbse won't understand the reference.

A Wallace planet with a "gromit" moon (or base) could be fun though.

The Wallace and Gromit system you proposed was the first thing I thought but IP issues, no?

The thing is Wallace and gromit are still going.

Why not just ask them? They might be happy to have something included in the ED universe referencing Wallace and Gromit. And no, bad spelling doesn't cut it, it's the intention and appearance that matter, not the spelling.
