'tis just but a scratch, carry on soldier!

Nah, just don't make anymore heavy landings and you'll be fine. In fact don't make anymore landing at all unless you need to gather materials for a repairer refill. Visit planets by all means but you can still appreciate them without actually landing right?

edit
Thinking about it, to be perfectly honest I would at that distance probably turn back myself unless I where quite close to my original target.

it should incress the jump range i left half the hull behind lol

why cant i repair it i can repair the buggy
You could try repair and reboot in the right panel.

Or you could fit, auto repair modules before you start off.

Too bad I can't buy a conda and put a huge repair module in it and a docking module and fly 20k out from the bubble and set up a repair shop for explorers. My prices would be reasonable, say 100k per 1% hull :)

I'm currrently 39k LY out & had a minor hull issue today. I decided to turn around & head home (I had been considering it anyway for a few days now). I did a honk & blat for a couple of hours & covered about 4000 LY. Decided to call it a night & take a look on the map to see where I was. I had hardly even moved apparently! It's a very, very long journey and even 'rushing' it's gonna take me a few days to get home. Worth considering this if you have any doubts :)

I'm at Sag A* with 58% hull after a similar incident, and personally I'm going to head back once I've taken a brief hiatus from exploring. But this is the furthest journey I've done, and I'm sitting on a whole bunch of fully scanned systems including black holes and neutron stars. If I'd sprinted straight here, and didn't have quite so much data gathered on the journey, I might be more tempted to push on.

In the OP's case I'd need more data before making a decision. Does the ship have shields? They won't help if you crash into a star's gravity well, but they might mean the difference between survival or death if another really heavy landing is attempted. How much exploration data has the OP gathered, and how much relative value does he place on it? Does the OP have enough self control not to attempt any more high-g landings or is he, like me, a screenshot tart who can't resist a good photo opportunity even if it means taking silly risks landing on razor-sharp escarpments on large moons? ;)

Dont forget to stock all possible canopy glasses for all the ships...

On that account: a "inflatable drydock station" to carry along in an anaconda or even a fleet of 5 or 6 of them would be nice.
Kind of an temporary outpost, just with large pads.

Get out and check the damage.
