Helena's Path Ideas

As the phase now is about paths I wanted to share my idea about paths. I have made a quick sketch I hope it is legible and hmm understandable. haha. Sorry about the bad perspective and mixed scale/proportions lol. (yes! LOL!)

It is about different path types and features. Stairs. etc.

First row: about smoothing the "stair bridge" type after you built it so it is uniform slope and not rct1-3 like edges.
Second row: option to turn slopes to stairs. Should be for all kinds of slopes, from shallow to steep, and also slopes directly on ground as shown. The pictures show the shallower "on ground" slopes with some ideas of path types and edging.
Last picture: about steps that you can place along side of path to lower path, as well as break off wider paths into plaza segments with steps and such. curved steps would be lovely.

Yes please!

The stairs & curved stairs are certainly great ideas. There is a thread about stairs, lifts & escalators on here and it would be good to get this input added to that thread if possible.

Great sketches to show what you mean and give some nice visuals so we understand :)

+1

I would like the possibility to create natural stairs which is build into the grass which looks more edgy so. Something in that direction!

I'd like for the pathing to automatically adjust to whatever slope you are building it on, the current way to raise and lower the path is really bad. And why are you limited to 5 squares at a time, why can't you just click a spot and draw the path however long you want it?

i would love for a more curved hill pathing system like in RCTW. it makes it look more natural and gives it a nice feeling. im guessing this will be in the final game though.
