Hello, I have just started playing again, I have before but not for any longer than a couple of weeks. This time I am really getting into it. I have completed the training and some of the scenarios. Does anybody know how you communicate with your Squadron in game? I note some people have been talking to each other but I cant work out how I talk other than in local or system chat.

Voice comms - you need to request voice comms to someone who is a "friend" in game or to a wing-mate - again via the comms panel.
Most squadrons seem to use out-of-game voice chat - mainly Discord it seems.

Ok, thanks, it seems that in the Squadron I am in you have to be a certain rank. Ok well, at least I know.

theres chat and theres talking.
chat, type /help in chat for list of commands, /s for squadron chat - theres also a squad leaders chat if youre ranked enough within your squadron and they use it
talking - all of the above suggestions, depends on squadron what they use,
