Hello Community Managers responsible for CQC - please read, listen and help !
A few weeks ago, something typical happened in this wonderful and important sideline of EDO and EDH: the Close Combat Quarter!
We were able to wow a group of Console Players for CQC. They all had no experiences with this sideline so far and what we told them about our experiences and the fun we had inspired them to coordinate and to join CQC in TDM one Friday evening. What happened there was most disappointing and so discouraging that they will not return to CQC.
One of the more experienced and skilled players appeared, constantly looping the PUs and shot them down over and over again. For the totally perplexed newcomers it was pure slaughter. They even haven't a chance to play together for a few moments. Later, they tried to contact that butcher and reached him but were only ridiculed.
There are (many) more of these ruthless players around meanwhile which is the reason why newcomers avoid to join CQC. So there is a dead-end street situation in CQC right now: those players who joined years or months ago and meanwhile have reached their final ranks and those who try to advance and we have a dramatic - if not to say deadly - lack of new players because of the initial frustration they have to experience.
We know that you, the Community Managers, are doing the best to provide and maintain success to this wonderful game. Please help us and save the future of CQC by introducing two new features (you have it in the main game already!):

We know that you, the Community Managers, are doing the best to provide and maintain success to this wonderful game. Please help us and save the future of CQC by introducing two new features (you have it in the main game already!):
- Please introduce an "open mode" to CQC.
Adjust a button to the CQC main menue named "opene mode". Clicking on that button enables a player to play CQC like it is right now - play it together with players of all ranks.
- Please introduce a "league mode" to CQC.
Adjust a button to the CQC main menue named "league mode" ( a mode comparable to the Premier League in England or the Bundesliga in Germany) . Clicking on that button enables a player to play CQC together with players of his/her equal ranks only. This is the only way to avoid frustration as described above because players have a real chance to combat and advance with their similar skilled comrades: "helpless" fights against "helpless" and once he/she has reached the 5000 XPs they jump into "mostly helpless" to fight in that level only to advance to the next one. So frustration - as we know it today - is completely avoided, players reach the next level more rapidly and will have much more fun and stay with the game!
And fairness would have a chance, more players would join and stay! It would be a benefit for all players from both sides of the scale.
FDev, please show a reaction to the CQC communtiy! Thank you!
