As with any new ship make sure you can cover the insurance Just encase the un imaginable happens,.... pirate attack.
I've been slugging it out in a hauler to get the the cobra... went the long way around via the Lakon 6. A great way to amass a lot of credits to fully laden the Cobra and leave enough in the kitty for insurance and cargo. Don't leave yourself short, better to grind away for a day or two extra to ensure you're set for the long haul and the occasional repair bill. Enjoy 
For pure trading ? Definitely.
But take above advice, don't do it until you can cover your insurance, AND (important) before you have enough excess cr to be able to afford the commodities to fill up that godly cargohold.
Otherwise you'll start your type 6 career shipping Algae and Hydrogen Fuel.
Ok everyone thank you for the advice much obliged... my decision (drum roll) I decided to wait to get some more credits about 500,000 k should do it just so i cover insurance and first few cargo runs thank you all again
