So far the increases in the bounty hunting rewards are EPIC....!

Played half an hour so far and made 96K, and thats in a pretty secure sector with small ships... Nothing bigger than the Cobra and 30+K for a Cobra is pretty dam good :) Ohh SOOOOoooooooo Happy! :)

teladi wishessss you great profitsss. much profit can be had in RES areas, 1M/h if you're good (before 1.2, so maybe more now)

I Just took an Elite Annaconda down for 100K in an Eagle...

So flight out, nailed the Conda, hit another Eagle and Adder, 140K before repair an rearm.

Still 135K ahead at the end... Thats being generous, 2.7K for the refit and I'm out again.

This game just got SO much better :)

The new bounties are great, I am very happy with them. Still not as much as trading, but good enough that I can see some progress financially in game. Enough that I know that with some dedicated play, I will eventually be able to afford the ships I want in the future without engaging in trading, which some people love, I cannot stand. It's okay for there to be multiple paths to advancement.

Wait until you hit hostile with the local pirate faction that you hunt. Most of the mobs at the RES turn into KoS when they see you and it gets pretty hairy. For the first time I've had to make strategies with my weapons.

Just flew back into civilization from Exploring...and made a little shy of $1mil CR. Cannot wait to return to bounty hunting now. Thanks devs!

Been having a lot of fun bounty hunting now. First thing I did was get the new Vulture and head over to a nav beacon.

Played for a few hours and was very happy with the results:

I apparently have the Crimson Drug Empire so mad at me near EZ Aquarii and surrounds that they're constantly yanking me out of SC with interdictions and showing up in strength at the Nav Beacons. I've actually had to add pips to shields and even 'retire to recharge' a few times... it's so AWESOME!

That made me laugh out hartily! I came upon ye teamspeak and was met wit' coldness..
So i say to ye. I'll be back but next time perhaps make ye crewmates more willin' to chat to ye new mates, aye!?

Either way, me expert fight skills meet be getting used to bounty'ing at this rate. And if push comes to shove I might have to go full blown Pirate assasin and i'll only take the best paid jobs from ye Pirates.

I've just made 350kin an hour around Navigation points.

My profit, if continued will soon exceed the profits I've made from trading.

A few rare runs and I can get a vulture.

The additional bounty is great - though IMO a bit too much.... Still it's nice!

Yes if you are lucky to find a " cop killer " they will have huge bounties.
Quite rare though, I've only found one so far, all the others were $60-$70K
