Wow! Just wow! I never thought there would be an actually half-decent follow up to the early movies. I thought this franchise was deader than Frank.
I'd got used to dissapointment with the owners pumping out sequels just to hold onto the rights that were just rubbish stories and acting with Cenobites somehow worked into the story.
But this one, for all its faults, is a worthy sucessor to the franchise. It builds on the lore, it doesn't work against it, there is actually a half decent story there, plus a couple of nice twists at the end. I won't mention more because spoilers, plus these forms are family friendly, but really, if you are a fan of Clive Barker or the Hellraiser franchise, check it out. You might not be dissapointed
