Help! Can't find a way home

I thought I would have a nice round trip towards the Eta Carina nebula, but then detoured towards the crab pulsar to see how close to the edge of the galaxy I could get in a      with a 48LY jump range. I wanted to find an undiscovered Black hole or Neutron Star, never did get a black hole but found 2 of the latter. Also found my first earthlike world so thought I would head back towards my home on Gende and put my name in lights ;)

On the way back, I visited the seagull nebula and was intending on going through the middle of Barnards Loop

There are a lot of exciting looking systems out of my jump range and I could not reach them but carried on with the big red letter C getting closer and closer

Then for the first time I saw the "Unknown Permit" error from the nav computer. No Matter, I'll go round the side

So now I am at a point where I spend 20 minutes jumping to a place and then cant go any further.

Is there any way to see where I am not allowed to go to aid me with plotting a route back? I dont want to go back the way I came if I can get around a relatively small area of inexplicably disallowed space.

It is new as of 2.0. There are ways through use the spider web. Good luck. Crab nebula expedition may have some useful waypoints for you.

Best bet would be to install either Captains Log or EDDiscovery. This will read back your netlogs and put them into a readable format. From that you can simply plot your way back via the same systems that you visited on your way in. Should be able to get you out of the maze you've found yourself in. Good luck commander!

Use height. Go to a height of I think it was +300 and you avoid almost all the permit systems.

We had to use this for a few Fuel Rat rescues when the Permit systems first got changed.

I just got out of there. The dastardly COL SECTOR 70 / 121. I spent two nights and it seemed that 70 was everywhere I turned. I guess it depends how you got in but I was finally able to get a plot to the Witch Head nebula where I knew from past experience that I could get home. Intensely frustrating. I almost considered opening a ticket. An unknown permit filter for the galaxy map would have been much appreciated at that point.
