I installed Elite Dangerous on my computer from Steam. I tried to log into the game. It asked me for a Frontier Password, but I forgot it, so I went to Frontier to log in. It didn't recognize my email account, so I created one. Tried to log in again through Steam after clicking The Launch Button. and it brought me to the Frontier login again. I typed in the email and password, then it requested a code sent to my email account. I put the code in, and nothing happens. I keep having to re-enter email, password, and verification code sent to my email account over and over and over again. I tried accessing through my Steam Account again and launching Elite Dangerious, but I keep having to go through the same process over and over again. I'd like to play the game that I paid for. Why is it that nothing seems to allow me to get through?

In steam, you purchase the game and IIRC part of the process they have you create a Frontier account and link it to Steam.
When you start the game in steam, it loads the launcher, which automatically logs you into the frontier account...
You cannot use a frontier login to get into the game, you must use the linked steam account.
Occasionally, when I load the game in steam, it will not automatically log the launcher into Frontier. I have to close everything, and sometimes reboot my PC, restart steam and try again, usually this only needs to be done once but sometime It takes a few iterations...

1. if you bought game over steam and / or want to run game using steam: you must login to frontier website and bind steam account to it, then launcher should not ask any passwords.
2. if you bought in store - just use email in laucher. DO NOT run over steam. If you want to use steam - see 1.

I also turned off my Anti-Virus Software and Firewall. Still can't log in

Did you link your Steam account to Frontier?
but even though I'm launching through Steam, it brings me to The Frontier Login.

I did the following, but it doesn't process. I tried turning off my antivirus and firewall. It still does the same thing over and over again.
Well, so far, I tried several times. I just can't get it. Trying to play in VR.
Sometimes there are outages, only 30 minutes or so but still very frustrating.

Well, it is the first time I try to log in since I purchased the game for the 2nd time. I've purchased the game once before, but that is when I had my Oculus. I have an HP Reverb G2 now.
