Help finding massacre missions

Finally, after a truly ungodly amount of grind, purchased the Vulture on G-virus that is the Federal Corvette. It's now mostly A/G5 rated and I've got a powerful urge to tear up in some combat zones with my twin huge efficient beams and earn back some sorely needed coin. Trouble is massacre missions turn out to be somewhat thin on the ground, now that I'm actively looking for them.
Any tips? Was passing through Ceos a while back and there were droves of them. Is there some combination of factors (governments, economies, etc) that causes more to roll on the mission board?

Look for systems in a state of war.

I noticed an ungodly amount of these missions while I was Empire rank grinding in Wu Guinagi the last few days. Have fun and Up the Irons!!!

War and civil war system with high population and ideally a military economy. Get allied with faction giving the most massacre missions. Check the Waring factions influence is low and both factions influence a bellow 30% difference. Have fun board flipping and station hopping for a day followed by gratuitous pew pew pew until yours eyes bleed.

You can filter galaxy map by State - War and find systems that way too.

Inara.cz has a section "Galaxy" that lists systems in War too.
