Engineers Help identifying modification

I need some help telling if the grade 5 modification I have on my frame shift drive (increased range) is before or after the engineering update. Is there any way to tell in the interface or do I need to go to the engineer to tell? I don't remember when I got it :)

If it helps, E:D Market Connector claims this is the correct link for my in progress design. Not sure if it helps: https://s.orbis.zone/1h58

Thanks!

Coriolis is showing fixed values for integrity (-15%), mass (30%), and Power draw (15%). If you compare your actual values from your ship and the value for a new one in outfitting that should give you the same changes if you have the new modification. The old modification will probably have different changes.

What happens if you try to use remote engineering? A response that it is already max might not tell you much, but it might also say something about unable to work on old modifications.

My first thought was maybe you had a secondary that was new or old, but your link did not show one.

If that link is accurate, it looks like pre-3.0 engineering. As mentioned, the negative values for post-3.0 engineering are applied in full with the first roll at each level. That means any/all negative values will be whole numbers. Also, the drive in that link is showing a change to boot time - that looks like a random secondary effect, which are no longet part of engineering.

Quick check - if you have the increased range blueprint pinned, try to remote engineer it. If it is a legacy drive, it will not even show as available to engineer. If you do not have the blueprint pinned, when you try to engineer it at an engineer, it will not let you - you will get a popup warning.

PS Those look like legacy thrusters too.
