Help Im stuck in a blue "wormhole" thing...

Here I am supercruising along to my destination and all of a sudden Im stuck in what seems like a wormhole type blue space storm with a blue "Vector Escape" circle in my HUD bouncing all around. I can barely control my ship and I have been trying to hold the nose of my space craft in the center of this blue "Vector Escape" circle without much luck and it doesnt even seem like im moving or making any progress. I have more than half full of fuel and my throttle is all the way forward but no power. I tried hitting "J" twice to jump out of the supercruise, but that doesnt work either.

Any help with what the heck is going on here?

Keep heading towards the escape vector until the red bar on the right is gone to avoid interdiction, or set throttle to zero to "permit" it. If you do so, keep in mind that either system security or Pirates can interdict...

How do I get out of this? It looks like im still in supercruise mode with the yellow parallel lines on either side of my HUD. I just read that once you are interdicted in supercruise you are forced out of supercruise mode - this is not the case for me. I cant do anything ... in fact i am "alt-escaping" to post this while still being Interdicted with supercruise mode still engaged.

No scan has taken place or anything.

I guess this is a bug. Im still inside a "blue space storm" in supercruise mode. I cannot increase speed, I can access my panels, but cannot access any information (move cursor or cycle through tabs).

I stopped. Saved and Exited. Restarted and I was out of it. I then proceeded to the destination without any issues, aside from landing just became extremely difficult - tons more so than previously.

This is a display and audio bug caused by interdiction. I got the audio portion my self once, had the interdiction sounds while just SC'ing around. It went away when I landed. Not sure what caused it exactly, I think it may have been when I was going really fast and just completely blew the interdicting ship off, instantly stopping the interdiction.

I've noticed this myself - After an interdiction my Cobra handles like a pig until I land. :(

Not yet, because I wondered if I was imagining it or simply overdoing things when trying to line up with the station. Interdiction tends to happen while slowing down on approach to stations so docking happens soon (tm) afterwards.
Incidentally, I don't get a pointer to tell me which direction the escape vector is in, like I see in jingles' vids. Is this normal or should I ticket that too ?
