Help, im stuck

im stuck in a sistem and cant get out, the station in here sale only class 3 fsd and i cant go anywhere with 3ly jump range, i was hoping self distruct will giv me the high E class module but that didnt hapen, 4mil wasted, my only option i can think about is to sell my phyton and buy a ship to get out but i dont want to sell it... any advice??

Honest question, how did this happen? If your jump range isn't high enough, how did you get there in the first place? If you downgraded your FSD, can't you buyback the old one?

Are you carrying cargo you could unload?

Can you sell enough subsystems to lighten your ship to increase your jump range?

it sounds like you have sold the FSD that came with the Python and replaced it with a lower class - therefore crippling your jump range.

As others have said, you could buy a smaller ship, say an Asp and replace its FSD with a smaller one then immediately swap back to the Python and you'll be able to rebuy the one you just swapped out.

yup, i needed cr for something but when i sell my A6 there was a B5 and B6 avaiable, dont hav any cargo, my max jump range is 3.70 ly and the close sistem is at 5ly...

i hav an A3 fsd atm, i can only buy Cobra, Adder, Houler and type6, dk what fsd they hav but i think is still not enough...

The Cobra comes with a 4E FSD. The Python can jump up to 7LY with that, if you replace all other modules with the lowest possible Class, D-grade. Of course the station might not stock all of them, but you will probably get 5 LY out of it pretty easily.

Alternatively you can use the Hauler to jump somewhere else and come back with something bigger to bring a better FSD with you.
