Newcomer / Intro Help!! Is there a 3 way round trip for trade>goods for beginners. Help!!!

Hi, EDs looking for a 3 way planet trade run to start me off. Looking to sell the Freeagle and the SW asap. for a Hauler, wondering what sort of credits would I need prior the swap... cheers

Can't help with finding a trade route I'm afraid, unless we happen to be in the same part of the Galaxy. A Hauler will set you back about 60,000 if I remember rightly, so you probably want about 80-90,000 before swapping, so you can cover the insurance and afford some decent cargo to haul.

Thanks mate, I always thought we all started in the same station at the beginning. ??????? Or are we all scattered about when we start lol...

Some very general hints, but some of these require a fair amount of cash to move:

Take progenitor cells from high tech stations to either refineries or agricultural stations.
Take tea from agricultural stations to practically any other type, but especially high tech and industry stations.
Take domestic appliances to refineries.
Take superconductors from refineries to high tech or industrial stations.
Take marine supplies from industry to agriculture.

Above all, scout out your targets before buying up any expensive cargo to get a feel for the price differences.

You're welcome!

I think it's semi-random. There seem to be a set of starting systems that you could start in - I guess so new players don't start completely out in the back of beyond with no other players in sight for days. Can't say for sure I'm afraid because I'm starting from one of the Kickstarter setups.
