Help me figure this out please! Bug locking DLC dinos on freeform Nublar

Hello all,

At 30 years old, this is the first time I've every made an account and written on a forum so I hope this goes well.

So here's my problem. I'm playing Isla Nublar freeform and for some reason, there's a handful of dinosaurs that are locked on Isla Nublar that are unlocked in all the campaign islands. I have 5 starred all the campaign islands including Muerta East, Tacano Research, and Sanctuary Island. I have researched ALL dinosaurs and 100% DNA'ed them all. I have unlocked all missions achievements on all islands and have a research center, fossil center, and expedition center on every island including the off-grid centers. I'll leave a list of all the dinosaurs that are still locked on Isla Nublar. I don't know why this has happened?? I've played Isla Nublar on freeform before numerous times and ALL the dinosaurs were available. Yet now I can't seem to use all of them, unless I'm playing on the campaign islands. These are the dinosaurs appearing locked on Isla Nublar that are unlocked in any other mode:

Acrocanthosaurus, Albertosaurus, Ankylodocus, Carcharodontosaurus, Dreadnoughtus, Euoplocephalus, Herrerasaurus, Iguanadon, Olorotitan, Ouranosaurus, Proceratosaurus, Spinoraptor, Stegoceratops, & Troodon

I've been playing JWE since launch and this is something that I literally have no idea how to fix. It's gotten to the point now where I've had to register with a forum to find an answer. Please someone reach out and try giving me a solution. I really really hope it doesn't come down to uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Additionally......can someone tell me why in the main menu there's no longer an option for Sandbox Isla Nublar? All I see now is Campaign or Challenge mode.

There was never a Sandbox option from the main menu. Isla Nublar is part of the main campaign as a sandbox island. At times it sounds like you're on Nublar in the same save as the 100% campaign, but the confusion over "Sandbox" from the main menu suggest that it might be worth checking that your Nublar save is in fact the same game as your 100% Campaign. Unlocking everything in one campaign does not unlock everything across all saved games. In other words, if you're loading a "Nublar" save and a "Campaign" save separately rather than traveling via the F2 screen, then that may be youre problem.

This was the problem! Thank you. Yes I made a save file of Nublar during the initial first phase launch where I cleared the whole island of vegetation and flattened the land. Essentially a blank canvas to constantly play with each time I wanted to create a new park. I made this save long before all the new DLC's. So thanks to your response, I'm realizing I kept loading an old save that did not have the updated content in it. Thank you! Haha, I thought I tried everything and this was the one thing that didn't cross my mind. Thank you for your help Aramus!
