Help me, please.

Steam has decided that I do not have the game installed, but I do, I was just playing it.


Help anyone please.


It is version 1.2.2, steam is up to date. I was playing it, saved it, closed the game, allowed steam to sync, closed steam, went away, come back, turned on PC, opened steam and it is now telling me the game is not installed.

I have gone to task manager, end task, restarted the PC and nothing.

HELP...

oh phew, I sorted it.


I went to reinstall it and steam scanned my PC for local files. So all good again.

You should turn off steam sync it causes nothing but issues.

I thought turning off steam sync for PC could give issues for the game as well? Anyway, there is something wrong with Steam sync for sure. It can take several minutes for the syncing to even start, and it has nothing to do with my internet connection. I don't know if this is a problem with PC or with Steam but it is very annoying because I cannot start another game while Steam is syncing.
