Engineers Help me unlock Marco Qwent on Sirius

Hi all.

After a long pain grind to increase my rep with Sirius Corp (luckily there was a war in Procyon) I still have to be invited by the Sirius Corp to work with this guy. How does that happen? I am allied with Sirius Corp.

Is it a mission that pops up on Sirius? What have I must do to get a invitation? I already got the Sirius permit too, I went to Sirius on Lucifer but nothing pops up.

Help plz.

Marco Qwent needs the Sirius permit to access the system, but the invite to discover his location comes from Elvira Martuuk in Khun once you reach grade 3/4. You'll then have to provide him 25 units of Modular Terminals to be allowed to craft upgrades with him.

Ok so, you mean I have to go work with Elvira for her to give me his location? Because the only thing I have (I do not have his location yet ofc but I know he is in Sirius) on my engineer page on the 2 check boxes is;
One is already ticked that says "you know about his because of elvira bla bla", the other one says I need a invitation from Sirius Corp.

Like I mentioned, I already have the Sirius Permit, I already went to Lucifer and so on....

I am confused. :S

- you got the invitation

- you got the permit

- you need to pick up a mission from sirius corporation with the reward of "engineer invitation", which is only given out in the sirius system. sirius system has three mission boards.

p.s. because this is asked more often, and it is confusing, could you screenshot the sirius engineer page description - i think there is something in it like "this invitation is only given in the homesystem"... and please screenshot the invitation mission on board? because, after you have the invitation, both are gone, and i would like to be able to share those screenshots for people with the same question.

This is the status I got now. I'm 1 jump away from Sirius. I'm going back there to check the missions.

Btw, What you mean Sirius has 3 mission boards? You got mission board and passenger mission.

Or you talking about the 3 landing sites?

Ok, im on Sirius now, at Patterson Enterprise, no missions with rewards that offers engineer invitation. Gonna check all 3 landing sites on sirius for missions and check Solo and Open.

I GOT IT I GOT IT!!!!!

Switch to Solo and there it was the only mission that offer Engineer invitation. Got to fly to other system.

Probably I already got this mission but never noticed.

There are thing that are more simpler then it seams lol, we just have the way of complicating things

yes, three mission boards, one on each station.

thanks for the screenshot. "they will all only issue the invitation system from their home system" --- that's the line.

Mission Update - Engineer unlocked

After doing the mission from Sirius I unlocked the Engineer.

To mods: Please feel free to share all screen shots if any other people need help to unlock it.

Not got around to qwent yet but the info is helpful. Thanks for sharing and pleased you got it sorted. I had to unlock Alioth yesterday to get Bill Turner and had to fly around all the Alioth systems in oder to find that elusive permit. It wasnt where i expected it to be. All good fun though!

I was confused too. I picked the invite up at one of the smaller stations in Sirius
