Hardware & Technical Help Needed With Audio,

Hi guys,
Win 10 has had a problem with the Mother board HD Audio, It is unable to get 5.1 surround sound, only stereo.
tried everything but only stereo in both headphones and speakers.

Today I purchased a creative sound blaster Z , But try as i may, cant get it to do the above.

what kind of Audio does Elite D. have, Has anyone else had similar issues?

That's a very odd issue.
I can set windows to use 5.1, but only when it's plugged in. Maybe yours isn't set up correctly?

Considering you have a soundcard too now, and the same issue, i can only assume something is either wrong with your speaker setup, or windows has gone wonky.
Maybe googling the question will help.
Tom's hardware is particularly good for finding solutions to issues.
