Help Needed with Head tracking using Trinus Gyre, Open Track and Elite Dangerous 1.04

Hi Folks,

I wonder if you can help me track what I'm doing wrong. I've updated to a colorcross which is far superior to the standard Cardboard but I've recently upgraded to Trinus Gyre to 1.9 and tried to use the colour cross head set. I've got Trinus Grey working over USB tethering and when starting open track I can see the numbers and the octopus change as I move the headset.

I then start Elite Dangerous and goto E : D. The side by side view appears to work fine but it doesn't appear to respond to the open track head tracking. I've tried upgrading to open track 2.3. Trinus Gyre and opentrack seem to talk to each other fine but still nothing from Elite Dangerous. I have had it working using the mouse tracking option in Trinus Gyre but that's not as good as the head look I had in Gamma.

Is there any step I've missed?

Any Help would be appreciated.

Aha. I think I solved it.

I looked into the open track settings and it appeared that the in the open track protocol drop down box (I had it selected to open track only). Changing that drop down list box to IR Track or Both and it starts head tracking very well.

Quite impressive on the colorcross. ;-)

Do you stream to phone with Limelight or Trinus' own streamer?

It's Trinus' own streamer over a direct usb connection. I'll have to have a quick look at lime light.

I ask because limelight is an amazing streamer only it crashes ED. Trinus' own doesn't run that we'll for me but then I haven't tried a direct USB link yet.
