Done it! Ordered! Woohoo. Just hope it fits my MoBo, I can make a lot of space on my HD, and elite runs ok with my old sidewinder joystick. Next thing I need to order is time to be able to play it lol. (Note to self-send kids to park and wife to shops!)

Update! Ok, PC built BUT!
I've got an MSI Z97 MoBo, i3-4160 CPU, MSI RADEON R9 270X graphics, 8gb hyperx ram, corsair CX430M psu(I took note of your comments about the old psu and thought better not risk it!) and new 1tb barracuda HD as well as my original 2gb backup.
All this just for elite dangerous! It had better be good Mr Braben!! Lol.
Anyway, was also supposed to be upgrading to fibre last thursday(the day my parts arrived!) guess what- no internet at all. Bloody talk talk! Lots of updates to do then elite download here I come!

The whole setup was just under £430 delivered so just over my £400 budget, plus I didn't account for the £40 PSU so actually was u see budget and by all accounts should play the most demanding games around at the moment with 40fps+
