Help please ! Cannot figure out how to complete mission.

I 'am having fun doing passenger mission but have run into an issue. It may be me being thick (high probability) but I have arrived at Canis Majoris with a fare paying passenger and usually on arrival I get an update or a tourist transponder appears on my navcom. I generally go to the transponder and scan it to end the mission and return to base. This time I have had no update from the passenger or POI appear on the navcom. I cannot get too close to the monster star due to heat and I dont fancy flying super close to see what pops up. Anyone any ideas or bug report ?

Had one of these myself. You're going to have to do a flyby of all nearby planets so you pass within 900ly and lotier for about 20 seconds. Some of these beacons are actually on planet surfaces so you need to pass very close as if you were looking for a salvage poi.

You will need to actually drop onto the surface but you won't have to actually land.

Canis Majoris is a H U G E star. It's a super giant hence me not wanting to land ;) and there are no other bodies in this system bar a red dwarf. To get an idea how big it is you start scooping at 7000ly !
