Ok I’ve been at this game for over 5 hours and I still can’t get an animal in a habitat , I’ve played many simulators in my life but holy god is this a pain in the ass.
I bought 4 animals , they’re all sitting in the trade center so I click one and select move then I click on the quarantine and it says delivery scheduled then nothing happens , if I try to move one of the animals to a habitat I created it says invalid destination , I’m sitting here with my son laughing at this it’s been 5 hours and I’m the only zoo in the untitled states that’s been open for 9 months with no animals , is there a step by step guide ? I can’t believe this is so difficult with zero guidance , help section is worthless , no guides online HELP! I want to love this game!

There are 2 reasons I've seen so far when playing, for getting the invalid destination is either not having a completed enclosure or if there is no Keeper gate for them to get in. That's when I considered it a working enclosure. Animals should be able to be placed in.

I’m going completely nuts over here heatherg23 let me try that

For moving animals:
1. Make sure your game is un-paused! I'm really bad about remembering that I paused it to build, so I can relate to this one  The staff will move the animal from the trade center to the quarantine (and I believe it's caretakers and vets who do this, not the keepers, although I may be wrong). You can still "schedule deliveries" with the game paused, but the animal won't actually be moved until you un-pause.
2. Have at least one caretaker and keeper, and preferably also a vet.
3. Make sure all staff facilities (trade center, quarantine, etc.) have paths connecting them. I accidentally deleted a path one time and couldn't for the life of me figure out why no one was fixing my transformer!
4. Make sure the habitat has a keeper gate and that a path (staff path preferably) connects it to the other staff facilities.
5. Make sure the habitat is "ready" - if you click the barrier to bring up the habitat panel, in the upper left of the panel right under the habitat name it should say "ready" in green, meaning it's a valid enclosure. If it's not ready, it'll say something along the lines of "invalid" (I forget the exact wording) in red.

The most common issue I have seen with this is people assuming keepers are the ones bringing animals to the zoo, but it’s actually the caretakers who do it. It’s honestly not obvious and I would have been confused too if it wasn’t for the tutorial!

Speaking of what, the game does have a step-by-step tutorial! Is the first three scenarios of career mode. They are an excellent way to learn to navigate the game.

I'm having a similar problem. It says that my enclosure barrier is complete. There is a staff gate and all the pathing and facilities are present. I have all staff positions filled, too, so that isn't it. I have animals in holding that can't go into their fancy new enclosure. It's puzzling and very frustrating.

UPDATE: I went back into my game and even though the "barriers" showed as green, it showed as 96%. I missed that the first time since the cleanliness right above that was also green and showing 100%. There was one tiny place in the fence where it looked like it came together in a corner, but in fact there was a sliver of daylight between the pieces which the game reads as a gap in the fence. I hate how fiddly the barriers and the paths can be, but after a bit of fooling with it I got my fence fixed and then it allowed me to put animals into my exhibit. Good luck to anyone else who is having similar problems and my advice is to go over your fencing with a careful eye.

Here's this damn expensive game. Constantly Delivery Scheduling and not getting a meaningful message that is in trouble?
Pretty lame already sorry!
