Is the web support ticket system on hold or replaced? I realize they are busy, but my ticket is 10 days old and counting.
I would like to elaborate on my current situation. On or about May 28, 3307, I ran a restore power settlement mission threat 2. I pulled aggro from the settlement pirates with my SRV. I dropped the first target but I got stuck on reverse on a rock. I disembarked my SRV before exploding. I successfully dropped a second pirate before becoming overwhelmed. I ran to my ship to board. Now here is my mistake, I was on my eagle which was easily taken down by pirate guns. I went down with my ship, but the game crashed. I logged back into the game only to find myself dead and rebuy screen. When selecting to spawn in the detention center with a ship rebuy, the game crashed. This went on about three or four times.
I realized at this point I needed help. It had been one week since release and I was aware of the current state of the game. I made the decision to delete my save game in an attempt to continue playing the new DLC content while I waited for my game file to be restored. I submitted my support ticket online on May 31, 3307, through the Frontier Support website and here I am, still waiting.
I don't regret deleting, since it has given me the opportunity to continue playing the new content and considering the alternate was to be stuck in a loop of death until my ticket was reviewed. Please let me know if there is a different, faster way of recovering my game file... or if this is a lost cause with my attempt to recover my original game file.
