HELP! Turboed into a station... Viper Destroyed....... can only buy sidewinder ***?

So... it happened.
I was flying about in my Viper... doing the same old TURBO BOOST into station and land in 10 seconds trick...but this time... I forgot to reduce my throttle to minimum... and splatted... against the end of the station.

Now... normally when a ship get destroyed you get to see a screen where you get to choose if you want your Old Loadout or a free Sidewinder right?

Well not on my screen for some reason.... its just.. GONE...
Just a free sidewinder... no old loadout.. no viper... no weapons..
JUST a sidewinder....

Is this... a bug?


Cos I thought this is how its gonna work.

Creditors
There are different types of creditor
Neutral: every docking location has a neutral creditor who offers:
to pay the excess fee amount up front in return for a percentage of all future sales until the loan and interest is accounted for
to do the above but include a credit sum to help the player get back on their feet
The credit sum is equal to the value of the excess
Additional uses of the neutral creditor simply increase the debt
There is a debt cap, beyond which debt is written off
To give the player a Sidewinder ship with basic equipment fitted
Factional: some docking stations have Federation/Imperial/Criminal affiliated creditors who offer:
To pay an excess fee amount up front in return for services rendered (Repayment Missions)
To do the above but include a credit sum to help the commander get back on their feet
The credit sum is equal to the value of the excess

I don't think the credit system is in place yet, so you may only get offered a replacement ship if you can afford the insurance from your current credit balance....
