Help..Unable to leave planetary rings

So today decided to finally try out mining. Bought my new T10 set it up for mining and called her Mud Lover. When to another system dropped into the rings and every rock i came across said depleted. So i went to try to leave, got out past the rocks charged up fsd it goes to the jump animation time stuck on 0000 and dont go anywhere. Thought it just glitched out so i shut down the game and logged back in. All good respawned me in the ring again and all rocks have stuff now. So went about mining for 40 odd min then had to finish gaming session did the same went to leave and stuck on the jump screen again.

Anyone else having this issue?

Sounds like a bug to me. I've never had the jump animation stuck at T=0.0. Maybe network related? The game connects to a new instance during the jump animation but I think that doesn' t start until you are in Witchspace. Maybe check the FAQ at Customer Service website or open a ticket there.

Odd luck with server issue coincidence maybe? You tried to jump when server got hiccup and you got stuck at countdown. Later you returned to game and spent some time in and when you wanted to jump again, server got hiccup again.

I had once or twice similar issue - countdown went to 0, animation fired but I got stuck there. All zeros and nothing moving. Back then it was related to internet traffic. So your issue may be somehow related. Internet, router, that things.

I was low waking into the system. Once it gets stuck in the animation your stuck. Animation continues and sound continues and you can move your head but thats all. I did take a pic but dont know how to upload it from my phone.

When i hop on tomorrow I'll try high waking if it does it again. And if that fails I guess hop into the long ticket queue.

At least it drops you back into the ring when you log out and back in so at least I can keep mining till I run out of limpets. Lol.

Thanks all. If anyone has anything else i should try tomorrow when i log back in let me know.

You could try launching the non-horizons version of the game too.

Usually only helps if you're stuck on a planet surface but it might do something differently and allow you to leave.

Perhaps you could tell us where you are exactly and if you log in to open then perhaps somebody could join you, wing up and fly out together? Have you flown into and out of rings before? Sorry, don't mean to be demeaning or anything but you did say that you hadn't done mining before. Make sure you are flying directly away from the rings and give it a few more seconds after the mass lock goes out before trying. Also make sure you have throttle up full.

If you play with Horizon, maybe just try to launch the game without it and try to jump out. I heard it can unstuck some bugs.

On xbox so can't load them separately. 😢

I've been in rings before just not for mining. Dropped into tons of rings before and had no problems.

And as I said earlier I'm out of mass lock. Fsd engages hits zeros on the timer fsd animation starts and gets stuck in the animation. No way out of the animation unless log out and back in.

I wont be able to try again till this afternoon. I'm hoping it was just a bug yesterday and today works fine as usual.

My location is delkar 7a.
