Help with DK2 Setup

Short Version:
I have been reading several discussions on Oculus setup and each one seems to have been resolved with the user 'changes the in game settings' however there isnt any information on what settings they are talking about. I do not see any Oculus Rift options anywhere in the settings for this game, or perhaps I am looking in the wrong location. What are they referring to?

On request or if the above doesnt solve my issue. At which point I will provide version numbers of everything, steps, settings, graphics card, monitors etc.

you'll get a better answer in the VR forum below this one. The only oculus-specific setting in ED is Options-Graphics-Experimental 3D

Direct mode seems to have made my DK2 setting infinitely better. That might have just coincided with the 1.03 patch so there's no telling really, might have been that.

Very quick guide..

1.Setup the IPD for your eyesight and run the test demo (sitting at the table)
2. Ensure rift is set to 'Extended mode' the rift should be setup as your second monitor

Elite dangerous

1.Options,graphics - Monitor should be set to secondary, resolution 1920x1080, 3D setting - OCULUS RIFT (Headphones or Speakers)

I keep all the graphical settings at max except 'Blur' AA is set to SMAA.

I run a beast of a system, adjust the quality settings to give you 75FPS. Head over to the VR forum for more detailed info.
