How do I get these forums to stop sending me an email everytime someone replies to a thread I've posted in?

I've never managed to get this working and thought the function/option wasn't fully functional in this forum?

I always turn the email notifications off on forums like these. It's a damn nuisance to get emails just because someone has replied to a thread I once posted in.
