Hardware & Technical Help with head-track weirdness!

Hi,

I have just started messing about with FreeTrack, and built my own IR 3 point LED thingy which attaches to my headphones.

Having set up FreeTrack, and got it tracking perfectly (following several on-line guides), I was feeling pretty pleased with myself

The I launched Elite, it crashed!

Tried again, and it loaded (hooray)

I went into settings, and set headlook on always, then loaded a training scenario to try it out.

And it works! Soft of.

I get this weird 'stuttering' effect as though several times a second the view tries to reset to front, then flicks back to the head track again.

I don't know if that's caused by ED or FreeTrack or what the bleep is going on!!

Anyone got any ideas, as I'm really looking forward to getting this working...

BTW Using FreeTrack 2.2, and machine specs are:

Intel Core i5 3570 @ 3.4GHz
16Gb Ram
Nvidia GTX 560
Shed loads of drive space
