Engineers Help with MODIFIED CONSUMER FIRMWARE

Hello

i just cant find a faction wich gives Modified Consumer Firmware as reward. I visited now 12 Stations and logged in and out in every Station for 15mins but noone is giving MCF for reward. Yesterday i did tons of USS and did get some nice stuff but no MCF. Am i missing something ? are there special faction who over them or do i have to go to specific systems.... would be nice if someone can help

Missions, don't specifically look for anything in particular pick a station with as many allied factions as you can manage (or get allied with them) and keep refreshing it'll turn up.

It can take a long time because the mission reward pool is enormous, so trying to find 1/100 for example can mean lots of refreshing :/

I have the same issue. I have spent approximately six hours since 2.1 went live looking for modified consumer firmware. I have gone to several outposts and scanned data points. I have also scoured the mission boards in several systems and been to an estimated 50 USS (most of them degraded emissions and in several different systems). I have several firmware packages, but have not found ONE modified consumer firmware. Since this is one of the components needed for the most basic of engineering upgrades it is frustrating and I have since given up my search. It is back to RES bounty hunting with occasional scans of the wreakage.
