General / Off-Topic Help with PC build for streaming

My current laptop is just under the minimum requirements for Planet Coaster, so I plan on building a new PC in a couple months. I want to be able to record video for youtube, and maybe possibly also stream live on twitch. I have experience with video editing, but not capture cards or live streaming. I have some questions, and figured I would ask here since my main goal is to make videos for Planet Coaster, and maybe some other stuff like Dolphin!

I'm debating between an Intel i5 or i7 for my CPU, but I don't know too much about motherboards? I do NOT plan on over-clocking, as I do not want to worry about additional cooling. Any suggestions or price tips? My budget could possibly go slightly over $1000 (including gfx card, ram, ssd, etc) but I want to try and keep it below that. I figure I can upgrade things at a later point, right?

I also plan on buying a new monitor possibly an ultra-wide, but I am worried the extra resolution will make streaming a bit more complicated? I think I could afford a 34" ultra-wide with 2560x1080 Resolution and maybe a standard widescreen next to it, but that will be pushing my budget to the limit [wink] or I could just stick to my 40" HDTV for simplicity, because I'm thinking the ultra-wide requires heavier usage on the GPU?

Also, any good sites/forums I could post on? I mainly just check amazon, newegg, pcpartpicker, and google.
Thanks

At the Moment i have an i5 3470 ivy bridge, 16GB DDR3 1600MHz, and a Msi GTX 1060.

If you go looking at my twitch videos, you can see the quality of the stream! I use my gtx 1060 as the encoder for the stream.

I will keep an eye on how the game will run with more and full content. If my fps goes down then I would upgrade my cpu up to i5 6500, motherboard, new d16gb ddr4 2800mhz ram, and a better cooling. All those for about 500€.

And honestly I'm using a 8 years old hp display with 1650x1050 resolution. I would recommend a full hd monitor. Because the higher the native resolution the more performance you need in your computer!
Almost every player is still using full HD.
Me personally would buy an EIZO with full hd for about 350€

But a 150€ monitors does the same thing, but less functionality.

I hope I could help a little bit
