Hey everyone, I'm stupidly Inside a huge canyon system 4k light years from the bubble, this is the 2nd time now on a different planet and star system that iv stupidly came down here to get they geological features, the 1st planet took me about 1hr to get out by basically trying to drive up walls and use the boost rocket on the srv, im effectively stuck or takes great luck an patience to get out. Is just your luck if the planets have these creveses? Or they always do but avoid those ones even though there material there? Mega troll move sticking some of these down ridiculous deep creveses. Any tips appreciated

Cheers, iv git an asp explorer and could never find a spot to land inside wihh the ship as I tried for a while, I assumed as a result your supposed to leave ship up and take srv down but its a nightmare when your down there, maybe iv not looked hard enough? It's not the big flat craters I'm talking about it's the huge canyons on some planet's. Maybe it's troll and you supposed to search for easier ones?
no, you just have to fly really slow, be patient searching a landing spot, etc. i have not experienced a canyon without landing spot around a geo poi (but i'm usually flying a DBE, which is again smaller than an AspE)
or you search for a more flat geo poi ofc.
Thanks again man, recalling my ship makes things harder, it ends up way way up on the plateaus, iv landed on a lot o planets and craters but maybe I'm too hasty when trying to find a spot it could be that. I should prob be more patient when selecting a spot to get resources on a planet
