Help with prismatic shield generators!

Hello everyone! I just so happened to get my rank (finally after a long and arduious journey!) for my Imperial Cutter. I want to get an 8A prismatic shield generator for it as I'm just beginning to piece it all together for an A-rated build. I'm tight on credits as many people are in the game (if you're ballin' like a G more power to you fam!). I was wondering if anyone knew of a station in Li Yong space that sells the 8A prismatics?! I've been trying to piece it together on the cheap (even though there is nothing cheap about owning an Imperial Cutter) and I'm succeeding for the most part, and I want to begin engineering it to be a beast. Also I've searched as many Elite Dangerous tools that I know of to no avail. If you could please help a lowly and destitute pilot it would be much appreciated! Signing off CMDR Dangle.

You can get them at any station you just need to be a Aisling Duval supporter.

Oh, so all I have to do is find a Li Yong Station that sells an 8A shield and they will have the prismatic variant?

You cannot get them at any station, the same as you can't get any other module you fancy at any station.

To the OP: You'll be lucky to find one in Li controlled space. Just head to Shinrata for the 10% discount, assuming you have a permit?

Enter your location at the top to find the nearest station that sells them. If they stock 8A Generators they will also stock Prismatics.

Thank you, I did not realize that if they stocked 8A shields that it would stock the prismatic variant as well. Thank you for your replies. When I get home from work that's the first thing I'll do.

This shield can be purchased once the player has pledged their allegiance to Aisling Duval for 4 or more weeks and has achieved a rating of rank 3 or higher.

I hope you have done this part. Because 4 weeks is a long time to wait.

If you have a fleet of ships (or can afford some 'storage'-ships until module storage is implemented in 2.2), consider buying cheap ships and buying prismatic shields for them, just so you can later put them on your 'active' ships, without doing the full month of allegiance over again.
