Hardware & Technical Help with TM Warthog headlook sensitivity

I just got a Warthog throttle and I'm trying to make headlook work for me. Unless I'm really missing something, there is no headlook sensitivity in ED, only mouse headlook sensitivity. I want to use the slew control (just an x/y axis) on the throttle to headlook but it's WAY too zippy for me. I want to slow it down tenfold.

I've tried changing mouse headlook sensitivity, increasing the deadzones, and using TARGET to adjust the curve but none achieved nearly the desired effect. Is there some ini file somewhere that I can change the headlook speed in?

You are not alone, I have had the warthog ever since it first came out and the slew stick is way to sensitive for my use.

You can get technical and slow things down but I never used the Target software so I am clueless on this.

Most of the guys are controlling it by changing settings within the program at DCS like saturation and curves.
unfortunately in Elite these options are not available.
You might try using a virtual joystick program to dumb down the inputs...

hope you find something that helps I wound up remapping the slew function to the coolie hat instead of the stick.

Yaffle,
I did not even think about that.Duh!
I use TrackIR and most of the time I have it turned off, the only time I have really needed it in E D is during combat and most of the time I am trading.
It does work good though.
