OK, so I have given up on my information and come to the forum.

I played the demo for a short period of time and then turned it off. I came back and the play button did not work (it just lit up but did not open the game)
I uninstalled and went to re install when I got an error.

Failed to tide filed left by installer:Access to the path (There is more, but its just my file destination, ending at EliteDangerous32.exe)

I did not think of it so I tried to re install and made it about half way until I got another error, (Saying I had no access to the file I needed.)

I have deleted all the files and re installed, and troubleshot but nothing is working.

BTW | I have not added any files

Try downloading the installer again. Right click and install as administrator (just for debug) report back

I think it would be best if you get the error message up, take a screen print, crop it in mspaint and then post the final image here so people can see exactly what is going on.

If you have anything else network intensive running, pause it. If you are using wireless, plug in a cable. If you have consoles, take them out of standby and turn them off.
