I have so far pledged £90, it says I have access to private backers forum how do I access it?

Welcome to the forum and Elite : Dangerous. As others have said the "Private Backers Forum" should appear in the list with the other forums. However if you have only recently upgraded/backed the game it may take up to 24 hours for it to appear.
If you still don't have access by Tuesday next week drop a private message to Ashley Barley who is the Community Manager at Frontier.

The answer is, you have to log into your backers login first, then associate your forum account with your backer account - otherwise, the forum doesn't know how to give you access to the account (your two accounts until then are entirely separate).

Thanks everyone issue resolved I just need to wait for my access to be authorised then see you there. Do I need to know the secret handshake? Only other thing is do I go on to be an ELITE now??
Yes, but we can't tell you ... its a secret... not even confirming nor denying that the secret signal is even a handshake

Yes, I did read your post and I had done that thing where I connected my forum login name with my backers account when I had first completed backing process. Almost four days ago.
Anyway.......
I FOUND IT, NOW
I was looking for it up where it said Frontier/Backers Login/Forum and expecting to find it there. I thought that what you or somebody else meant when they said where to look earlier.
Funny thought, I didn't think it would say Private Backers Forum up there without you logging in first.
Which caused me even more confusion.
I didn't know it hidden within the other forum itself. Like it was actually....
I thought it might have ben a completely separate and secret website forum. That would have been encrypted against non-backers accidently finding.
I'm happy now, I have found it.
I ready to share my ideas, though I really think it may be too late at this stage.
