Helping a friend

I was helping my friend.. he got attacked.. i joined on his exit wake.. Shot his assailant.

Then he still gets shot till 25% on hull.. barely survived.. I see nobody.. the guy attacking him was long dead on my session. How is this possible????????????????????????

Jup.. I saw the friend.. I saw him taking damage from ghosts.. I couldn't help him.

Sorry to try to post this with the wrong kind of language.. but English isn't my primary language and it felt very messed up

Ghost ships have been a thing since I started at Beta and probably before, wait till you just get rammed by one of them resulting in instaboom and you don't even get to know who it was that rammed you :)

I was in a private group with the other guy and I jumped on his exit wake. I saw him taking damage, but saw nothing attacking him.

Seems to be a rather broken game mechanic. How can you help your friends or group up with stuff like this?

ticket the issue, If you can get screen prints or better yet video, send it off to FD.

I've not seen this happen since beta1, didn't happen in premium beta that I can recall.

so you didnt test it after, beta 3 was still here and reported...

just stop playing with friend for now other than in nav beacon/extraction site/station instances and wait coop and wing patch like all of us.
