Your Feature Request / Idea
My recommendation for Frontier is to include a Herd unity Mechanic where several functions can happen in the game when carnivores enter within their section of the environment herbivores can react in different ways in order to avoid to being eaten.
1. The bigger the herd the better of chances for survival for herbivores, 10 or more dinosaurs in a single herd of the same species could prevent carnivores from hunting them constantly when they're unified together, dinosaurs that stray too far from The Herd end up being theropod food. Namely hadrosaurs
and Stegosaurs would benefit from this mechanic.
2. Ceratopsians form circles to prevent themselves from being food and to become a defensive wall to prevent vulnerabilities in their defense and ceratopsians that stray too far from The Herd end up fighting alone.
3. Sauropods Either wave their Tails or Stand on their hind legs to intimidate or scare off carnivores that get too close to the herd and all of them would be doing it at the same time to warn the Predators not to get too close. Small dinosaur herds can flea towards bigger sauropod Herds in order to be safe from the larger carnivores.
I really hope Frontier will Implement a mechanic similar or possibly even better then this one that I mentioned here I'm putting on an idea for Frontier to include mechanic wear herbivores can I have a fighting chance of survival in our parks if included with carnivores.
