Here be Dragons

A planet not shown on the system map or left hand panel,

An unknown artefact

and now a station not shown on the system map.

"Tyger, tyger burning bright
in the forests of the night
what immortal hand or eye
can frame thy fearful symmetry..?"

(Blake, I believe?)

I remember that maps with white, unexplored areas sometimes bore the text: "here, there be tygers", referring to monsters (/aliens). Memory triggered when I read your heading.

Edit: Yes, here it is:

TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder and what art
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand and what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? What dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?

Tiger, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Think I had all the scanner gear for the blue planet and have been to the area a few times.

Here's some screens of the mysterious station (with a black market :)

Fall Far and Fall Well Pilot!

If discovery scanners can suffer from SPACE MADNESS (believe me, it happened to mine on many an occasion) then I guess it can happen to anyone...
