Here is why i am waiting for multicrew

Out of all the features upcoming in ED multicrew is the one i am most eager to get. It is a selfish reason. I am building something. I am building a VR bridge that you can walk in powered by 4 gaming PCS, 4 HTC Vives and body tracking using kinect. https://youtu.be/Ghgbycqb92c. It will cost me an arm, a leg and maybe a kidney but it will be worth it. I am waiting to se what FD is doing with multicrew before i start getting the stuff and building the actual bridge. I have a really big room waiting to be converted. In theory you can adjust the scale to match with the tracked body image in the video and also with the flight seats i will be using. Imagine being able to roam around on a Conda bridge with your friends...i will never see my family again

Then you will be waiting a while, multi crew got pushed back to at least season 3 or 4.

Multicrew will be 2.3. When was it said that it has been pushed back to season 3 or 4.

Yes, I am wondering where he got that idea from. My one question is, will we get NPC multicrew along with human multicrew?

AFAIK the official party line on NPC crew is still NO.

True, but also ship launched fighters were thought to be a multiplayer only thing. Maybe, just maybe, there is the a chance of NPC crew members.

My fault, I stand corrected. I was reading description of 2.3 The Commanders as just the avatar implementation and miss the mention of multicrew at end of the summary. I apologize for any confusion.

That's what I thought until they showed us the Crew Lounge and NPC crew in SLF's. Now I think that they're reconsidering their position.

I am still waiting to see where FD is going with multicrew. As soon as i get a general idea i will start working on the VR bridge. I will post work in progress pics. I will also make videos.
