Email just arrived giving access to the Backers registration site..... I have my Commander name and "real" name for the NPC character name database registered...... my physical rewards selected....

Suddenly it's all very real!

On another note - it did just inspire me to check my spam folder for the first time in ages. Quite enlightening.... *shudder*

Mine is timestamped 17:30, so it only arrived half an hour ago.

Registration page is very very well done - congrats to whoever is responsible. You can see your pledge value and selected reward tier, plus any reward credit you have. You can add more to your pledge total via Paypal directly from there, and that increases your reward credit allowing you to upgrade your reward tier or get additional physical extras. Then there's an area for registering whatever names your reward tier allows - in my case Commander name and NPC Name, and finally your address details if needed for shipping.

Very nice indeed.

....and now I'm going to be hitting refresh constantly until my Commander name is either approved or rejected..... Although it says they'll be done in pledge order so I guess they have to wait until everyone who pledged before me has also registered a name. I think I pledged on the first day, so there can't be tooo many people ahead of me...

Yeah, I'm slapping F5 so often I may need to get a replacement keyboard quite soon. This is a bit like the KS comments, so I've heard. Now, does pledge order mean ORDER BY PLEDGE_AMOUNT (DESC) or PLEDGE_DATE I wonder?

It'll be pledge date I would have thought, I've not heard anything yet and I think I either was day 1 or 2 (it was the night the article was on the BBC, whenever that was).

Huzzah! I'm in! The mail had gone into my spam folder, so don't forget to check that one too.

And yeah, now this is starting to feel real. It's going to happen. :)

This is what I'm worrying about, I just emptied my spam folder without paying too much attention to it, there wasn't that much in it and I think an email from Frontier/Elite Dangerous would have stood out from the usual pron, ****** and enhancement surgery emails.

But if I have deleted it? :(
