how 'bout a list of topics that newbies (like me) may think innocuous, but will *instantly* polarize the community, potentially cause heated debates at best and at worst name-calling and insults? I've used lists like this on other games, it's actually very helpful, and keeps (most) of the trolls at bay.
I'll start:
1) making ships available for purchase with RL $$- devs will either do it or not, no use debating it.
2) discussing your credit account - if you have more than a few million. making money in ED takes time, people will feel you're bragging and resent you
3) complaining about the "grind" time in ED.
This is just a sampling... anything else?
